Talbot Senior National School

Talbot played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Clonburris in the Clondalkin League today. We had some excellent chances throughout and their keeper saved well from Callum, Andrew, Ryan, Millie and Michael. Darragh and Cullen who played a half each in goal made some great finger-tip saves from their attacking players. The defence was superb throughout with Jude, Craig, David, Soheib, Afolarin and Toheeb making many important strong challenges. Captain Callum and Luke covered every blade of grass in the centre of midfield while Millie, Ryan, Emmanuel and Michael on the wings got forward at every opportunity. It was our strikers who combined to earn us a draw at the end with Jamie playing a sublime pass into Andrew who finished into the top corner from a difficult angle.
