Junior Achievement Make Maths Matter/Access Project‏

May 14th, 2015 by dcoleman8062

Today five fifth class pupils travelled to City West to give a presentation in one of their conference rooms. Seán and Samantha from Mr Molloy’s, Robert from Ms Ní Dhúill’s and Shayna and Cian from Mr Coleman’s class spoke very articulately and passionately in front of close to 100 adults. They spoke about their Junior Achievements projects, the importance of Maths in everyday life and the skills which they have developed from this process. Well done to all involved and Mr Carty for organising everything.

Thank You!

May 1st, 2015 by Mr. Stuart and tagged

Clean Up Day 2A big THANK YOU! to you! To ALL the classes!

Because you cleaned up so well on our Bawnogue Clean-Up Day last Tuesday, Bawnogue looked GREAT for everyone’s friends and families on our Confirmation Day last Thursday!

Look how much rubbish you cleaned up!

The photos show Ms Cunnane’s/Nallen’s class. They had the big job of cleaning up around the church and they did great!

Thank you too to the people who took away all the rubbish, South Dublin County Council. And thank you too to the organisation who encouraged us to do this: An Taisce, Ireland’s National Trust (fancy words for saying they are the nice people who help us take good care of our country and make sure we don’t spoil it).Clean Up Day Rubbish 2015.jpg
